Transportation and weddings…………..What are the issues???
When Jac and I got married—way back in the dark ages, we had two options for arriving at and leaving our wedding ceremony. We could drive one of our cars or we could hire a limo. We were very young and funding our own wedding and the cost of a limo was out of the question. So, we left in my 1964 Studebaker!
Our friends wrote on the black paint in white shoe polish, attached all sorts of stuff to the back bumper, and covered the engine in foul smelling fish. Fortunately, I had recently purchased a newer vehicle and had it safely hidden away from my delightful family and friends! The Studebaker never fully recovered from this experience.
