No idea is too geeky, weird or off beat to be the central theme of your wedding ceremony. So, you want your ceremony to be a mix of all the geeky things you love? We have done weddings where it all flows and blends beautifully regardless of the genre of movie, comics, games, or books. Or, if your love of cars is a vital part of your relationship, we can drive the point home during your ceremony. This blog post explores how to pick and carry out a theme.

All the details of their wedding reflected this. Their ceremony also reflected their love of all things geek! Meara designed her gown and had it custom made. She made her cake and all the other details in her wedding!	The hand fasting for Chuck and April's Dr. Who wedding used a blue bow tie just like out of the series. They used a lot of the language from the River Song wedding throughout the wedding ceremony
All of the family can get in on the action for a geeky wedding ceremony.	Lord Rodney and Lady Kirsten carried their themed wedding from start of the wedding ceremony through the clothing right into the style and serving of the food.	Halloween Weddings can be so much fun when everyone is in costume. How many couples get married by a witch?
Steampunk weddings are a lot of fun. Dressing the part was easy and fun. This couple used unique elements in their ceremony.	“Albus said: “We are only as strong as we are united and as weak as we are divided.” According to Albus, “It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live”.	This couple combined their love of all things Renaissance and their Scottish heritage. This carried over throughout their ceremony by including a hand-fasting as well as with the clothing of the wedding party.
What a perfect way to show your love of the Renaissance era by getting married in a castle!	This couple shared their vows in a local vineyard which was a perfect location for their Renaissance inspired ceremony.	The King and Queen in front of their Castle! The Friar performed a more modern ceremony while dressed in period appropriate attire.
The hour glass was a perfect container for a sand blending for this steampunk themed wedding.	“Four years ago, Amy had no idea that she had just met her very own Prince Charming! Yet, here we are in this magical castle to hear Steve and Amy as they promise to face the future together.	Grace and Peter wrote their vows in the same woods where Peter proposed. They find that being in the outdoors together is a central part of their relationship and that getting married in a wooded setting such as this Earth Sanctuary is very important to them.

“When a stone is cast upon a pond, it generates waves in ever expanding circles. Consider this marriage as being two stones striking the water simultaneously”	“As we come together in front of this beautiful aquarium to celebrate the lives of Jessica and Hoy flowing together, I’d like to share some thoughts about what we can learn from observing water in nature. Water is a great teacher that shows us how to move through the world with grace, ease, determination, and humility. When a river breaks at a waterfall, it gains energy and moves on, as we encounter our own waterfalls, we may fall hard………………..”	While appearing traditional in most ways, this couple honored their love of the water where one of them grew up. They included a water blending ceremony and many references to water in the ceremony.
“While marriage is a lot like fishing, something I know you both enjoy, it is important to remember this is not catch and release! This is the Big Catch! This is the one that did not get away.”	All outward appearances this wedding was traditional. Yet, they showed their individuality in the way they dressed. There were references to their love of all things comic in the ceremony, which was otherwise traditional but very personal and unique.	This couple had a lot of fun including their love of superheros and comic books into their ceremony. Their vows were from one of their favorite comics.
Childhood love of bouncy houses does not have to end just because you are adult enough to get married! The childish fun and love of their childhoods were included in their day!	Comic Wedding Vows: There were times I was lost, and you found me." "There were days which were heavy, and you lightened my heart." Though it all, since the day when we met, there was you for me, and me for you. That hasn't changed. That will never change." If you have been nice enough, the Big Guy himself can show up at your Christmas theme wedding. He comes in his full velvet suit and will include as much or as little reference to Christmas, The North Pole and the Holidays as you want. Santa can do your wedding at the family Christmas gathering or at a local park as a simple short notice ceremony.
This Norse wedding included a Water Blessing Bowl which was used to bless the wedding rings.	The theme of this wedding is very difficult to show in photos. It was very family oriented. They used readings and words from family weddings to represent the family history during their ceremony.	We will also dress for the part. If you want a Country wedding along with minister in bibbed overalls, we can do that! This couple were married on the land his family has owned for generations.
