Your loved one lived a full vibrant life. You want to honor their passing by honoring the life they lived. You want their memorial service to be truly reflective of the one being honored. Your grief is difficult enough to manage without having to find an officiant or celebrant who understands your unique relationship and beliefs.
Our funeral officiants work hand in hand with you to provide the memorial service or funeral that will bring you comfort and celebrate the life and love you shared with the departed. There are many beautiful ways to honor those who have died. How do we do this?
We meet with you to learn as much as possible about your loved one. We listen to the stories, we laugh with you, provide a safe place to grieve and let it all out. There is no judgement. We guide you through the steps of putting together the ceremony that will best reflect your loved one. We discuss the types of music and position in the ceremony. We share readings and poems you may want included in the service. The location of the ceremony is discussed and options are offered. We discuss spiritual beliefs and religious background. Together we make sure the beliefs of you and your loved one will be represented. Your faith is truly yours, we do not impose our beliefs into this most intimate time. We work with the family, friends and loved ones to truly celebrate the life and the meaning they leave behind.

If you or a loved one is facing death and want to be sure that your ceremony is planned and your family/loved ones are not facing that difficult challenge, we can work with you. We meet with you and listen to your wishes, provide you with ideas and feedback. If you want, we will provide you with a draft of the ceremony that will be presented so that you have the peace of mind knowing how you will be honored. We can talk about the many choices for locations for your ceremony and the options for the handling of your remains.

While we are not a funeral home, we have worked with many families to have special unique ceremonies to honor their loved ones. We have honored a Native American Veteran by having her ceremony outdoors at the local Veterans Memorial and having her life represented by the presentation of her Sacred Objects.

We have celebrated the life and love of a woman on the boat ramp where she and her husband launched the sailboat they built together. Other families have wanted simple grave side services, or the more traditional ceremony inside the funeral home which handled the arrangements.
