Easy ways to include the holidays in your wedding planning!
How can you take advantage of all the excitement of holidays while doing your wedding planning?
Bling! Often weddings use a lot of bling to make the decorations pop. Now is a great time to purchase lights, silver and gold balls, crystal, trays and all sorts of bling to make your wedding truly pop. Visit the Christmas stores that pop up in your area—they won’t be there when you want to visit them in the spring.
Gifts! Don’t hesitate to ask for items you need or want for your wedding. Let family, friends and loved ones help out by giving you some of the items you want to use at your wedding. Make sure the items are things you can treasure and use for years to come—special glasses for your first toasts, cake cutting supplies, or the special frame for your engagement photo/guest registry are all the types of items others could give to you.
Time! While we are all rushing around and super busy at this time of year, it is important to remember to take a few minutes to just be. Be with each other. This is probably your last Holiday Season as an engaged couple, this time next year you will be married!
Share! Remember to share your love and blessings with others. Take time to work with a charity of your choice, provide gifts to those less fortunate, share time with someone who needs it. Love shared is love multiplied. Do these activities as a couple, it will nurture and nourish your relationship.
Also, give yourself a break. You don’t have to do it all today and you certainly don’t have to do it all alone! Allow experienced knowledgeable professionals take as much stress off of you as possible. This will give you time to relax and enjoy your engagement.
