Geeky, Themed, and Offbeat Weddings
You want your wedding ceremony to be Dr. Who meets Harry Potter meets Game of Thrones meets Star Wars meets Super Heroes meets Hunger Games? YEAH! We can do that! No idea is too geeky, weird or off beat to be the central theme of your wedding ceremony.So, you want your ceremony to be a mix of all the geeky things you love? We have done weddings where it all flows and blends beautifully regardless of the genre of movie, comics, games, or books. Or, your love of cars is a vital part of your relationship, we can drive the point home during your ceremony. This blog post explores how to pick and carry out a theme.
We will also dress for the part. If you want a Country wedding along with minister in bibbed overalls, we can do that! A Norse/Viking wedding is not a problem for us! Looking for a Ren-fair wedding or Steam Punk or Harry Potter? We can dress the part! The photos on this page demonstrate the offbeat nature of many of the weddings we have done.
You want your ceremony to reflect your love of sports, fishing, hiking, cars, or travel? We can hit a home run with your ceremony! Your guests will be talking about the way your ceremony reeled them in and kept them on the edge of their seats waiting for the big one! We have just the ticket you need to be sure your ceremony does not derail. It is difficult to demonstrate in photos how we can make your interests and unique personalities a part of your ceremony.
Some of the things we have done: include the vows from Game of Thrones in the hand-fasting, cast a spell from Harry Potter at the pronouncement, find vows from a couple’s favorite super hero’s wedding, include comparisons of the couple’s interest with relationships and love. We will do the research to find appropriate quotes and readings from your favorite movie or literary work and incorporate them into the ceremony in just the right places.

Overall Geek with Dr. Who Theme: “In honor of this special celebration we ask that you set all electronic devices to “Wedding Mode” and all weapons on “Stun”. In fact I would like to suggest that you consider enjoying the ceremony in real time and limit the use of your phones, tablets, sonic screwdrivers and communicators. Of course phasers, blasters, lightsabres and disruptors are banned by intergalactic law.”

Norse Theme
“It was the custom of the ancient Norse for the couple to share mead each day, beginning on their wedding day, for the first month of their union. Hence, the term honeymoon. The ceremony we are about to do is also the beginning of the tradition of the “toast”. Today, Michelle and John will share their first drink of mead in that tradition”
“In Norse Tradition the couple exchanges swords as part of the wedding ceremony. The groom presents a sword to his bride to represent the passing on of family tradition. She is charged with keeping it safe and passing it down through the generations. The bride passes this sword on to the first born male.”

Aquarium/Water theme:

Love of Mustangs

Even Santa Can Arrive at Your Wedding
If you have been nice enough, the Big Guy himself can show up at your Christmas theme wedding. He comes in his full velvet suit and will include as much or as little reference to Christmas, The North Pole and the Holidays as you want. Santa can do your wedding at the family Christmas gathering or at a local park as a simple short notice ceremony.
